The weekend's promised mild weather and rain has meant that all the snow is now gone with the only reminder is the smaller version of our 'once majestic' snowman. Moon fixed it but I think he will be basically gone tomorrow.

I'm handing in the towel with work for the next week, so I can spend time with my sister.
These are fake, my real 'stop biting my nails' challenge is failing, but I am biting them less than usual...

Day 249.

So, yesterday I decided that I was going to give up biting my nails.
My hands have been pretty rank for a long time and it's not like I don't know it, it was meant to be one of my New Year's Resolutions and it nearly always is. I figured yesterday was as good a day as any to just stop. I must admit, it is kind of nice to have white bits, even if they are tiny. I haven't bitten them at all today, I'm kind of proud of myself, I've never got past a week each time I've tried but I feel pretty determined this time. Wish me luck!

This is a plug for a sink that Moon was going to buy me for my birthday but couldn't because they sold out.
They had more in stock today so I bought one, I got it in pink so it matches our kitchen, it's so cute, Moon paid for it too as it was only £1.49, I'm so impressed.
I could live in the Steamer Trading Cook Shop if I were a billionaire and had a need for an apple slicer, thousands of different kinds of blender or dish brushes where the bristles are hair.

Today was a day in which we had a nice roast dinner and I finally played around with my 35mm lens, which I've decided I love.
