My sister is here! My tutorial went well, but not as well as I'd hoped.
There really is very little to do in Portsmouth, but there are enough places to eat!

My mum took my sister and I to a sushi bar for lunch this afternoon, it was about 10 times the price of the sushi bars we went to in Hong Kong, this makes me very sad as it wasn't even half as good. I think everyone, apart from us, already knew it was expensive anyway. We are mugs.

So, I took some photographs of the restaurant for my Mum today, I also went out to buy my grad ball dress, but failed and came back with a ton of stuff that cost money I didn't really want to spent.
Just applied for another job in August, hope that my Village Voice stuff goes well tomorrow. I'm also finally up to date with all my blogging and as VV is only from 2 until 4 tomorrow, I have plenty of time to stay on top. Being a busy bee is much better than being some kind of sloth laid up on the couch when it's so boiling.

My sister is down for the night as Moon is away getting his Rage Against The Machine tickets at home. In any case his exams are over so it wouldn't have mattered. I treated her to a tasty lunch at Giraffe. I finally ordered a dish I had seen irl, but not on the menu, it was as good as anticipated, but a bit filling. We've had an alright day, I'm knackered now though, what with all the walking I've done in the past few days. I think I will have a well deserved sleep later.

My sister came down for the day today and we went to Southampton.
This was taken at the worst Chinese restaurant, ever, where I both got ripped off and felt jippy. Bleugh.
It was nice to have Lucy down though, i am just waiting on her phone call to tell me that she's home safe.

Day 81.

Today I was treated to a date.
I did a pretty decent workout at the gym, and now my legs hurt.
Then I finally got to see Shutter Island, which is brilliant and has motivated me to finally watch Blood Diamond, it relates to my dissertation (loosely).
AND THEN, I went to Giraffe and had this tasty dish.
What a nice day, I even woke up early, now I am basically tuckered out, so I'll be viewing Blood Diamond from my bed, in pyjamas.

Day 26.

Tonight, as a house, we went to Big Ernie's, it is not the finest place in town to dine, this is Moon trying to figure out how to eat his 'Big Kahuna Burger', which looked pretty horrible. I have just left Stacy at Babylon with a woman, the food at Big Ernie's is a helluva lot better than her.

This was taken in Frankie & Bennie's in Gunwharf, I don't think I ever want to go back there again, our food was basically cold. Their banana cheesecake was pretty delicious, but I'd rather make my own than go back there. We did have a voucher though, so at least we weren't ripped off.
So, Moon has finished his exams and we celebrated with an ok lunch and a screening of AVATAR, which he hadn't seen yet, I think it overshadowed the lunch, but it wasn't the best food I've ever had anyway, and AVATAR is a pretty amazing movie.
