Day 289.

I made a delicious cake this afternoon, it tastes like a chocolate orange, it's meant to be a spiderweb cake, and I found the recipe in Asda's free magazine but, I didn't do the icing very well so it just glooped all down the cake. But at least it tastes good. Nom. ♥

Day 288.

I have been here all day, thinking about my sore stomach and watching rubbish TV. I did manage to get through a chapter in one of my dissertation books though.

So yesterday was interesting. My third shoot of the week went well and then Joe was in Portsmouth. They've made Waster dangerous and filled it with typical dangerous binge-drinking offers, vom. My stomach is whirring.

I'm so happy that my shoot today went well that this is today's 365. Not only was this guy really nice, but everything went according to plan and nothing broke. I hope the rest of the week goes well...

My luck got even worse today - it's basically explained to great length here. This fuse was basically the icing on the cake to a spectacularly unlucky series of events. AHHH!

So today was full of sod's law.
I had a shoot arranged for my project that I cancelled but the guy didn't get my message and turned up anyway, I didn't want another shoot like yesterday so I sent him home, about 5 minutes after he left, UPS turned up with the replacement parts - couldn't even make this up. This is why deliveries should be made in the early morning.

So, without my lights, I'm a bit lost. I had to do a shoot for my half-Chinese project today and the photos didn't turn out as well as I'd hope. I'm waiting on a new sync cable and two new modelling bulbs. This is unedited but even the unedited studio-lit ones of Izzy and Rio weren't this bad. I'm a bit scared that I'll have to ask this guy back for a re-shoot, but his photos will be much better so I'm not sure. I might have to cancel my shoot tomorrow...
